One day, long ago, there existed only the Universe. The Universe was made up of unique and powerful energy, one incomprehensible to mankind. The Universe held so much potential, and yet It was in solitude, so the Universe decided to begin creating. Its first creation, the Universe called a “Realm”. The Realm seemed lonely, just like the Universe, so It decided to create more. Realm after Realm, the Universe created, each more grand than the last, but the more It made, the more corruption seemed to loom over Its creations.
Finally, the Universe decided that Its creation needed something to watch over it—something close—something to guide it and defend it from the corruption it faced. The Universe made a Realm to rule all Realms; He called it Goldridge. A beautiful Realm, rich in nature, which would prove to bless each foot which encountered its soil. The Universe had created plenty of creatures in Its time, but none more astonishing than those to inhabit Goldridge, of whom It called the Guardians.
